Damien’s area of speciality is employment, industrial, and work health and safety law, including both litigation and advice work. He appears in federal and state courts and tribunals for government entities, private employers, employees, and regulators. He also appears in disciplinary proceedings and regulatory proceedings.

Before being called to the Bar in 2021, Damien was a Senior Associate at a national law firm in its workplace relations and safety practice, and a Lawyer at the Fair Work Ombudsman. In 2014, he was associate to his Honour Judge Horneman-Wren SC in the District Court of Queensland.

Damien holds a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney, and a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Science (Major in Physics) from the University of Queensland.
